The construction of the buildings has now been completed
This makes possible the creation of a number of new research activities. Three are already in existence:
We are now trying to raise funds to create the following:
- Cambridge Computational Biology Institute
A collaboration between many departments that will bring together the unique strengths of Cambridge in medicine, biology, mathematics and the physical sciences
- Centre for Research in Quantitative Finance
A collaboration with the Judge Institute of Management and the Department of Economics
- distinguished visiting professorships
and professorships in
- high-performance computing
- mathematical biology
- statistical physics
- modern analysis
- public understanding of mathematical science
